Plugins
Dependencies
Plugin dependency chaining with extensions["ai.agentrig"].pluginDependencies.
Dependencies
Plugins can declare other plugins they depend on using extensions["ai.agentrig"].pluginDependencies.
Plugin installs resolve and install dependencies before the requested plugin.
AgentRig plugin manifests are Agent Plugins 1.0.0 conformant. AgentRig-specific fields live under extensions["ai.agentrig"].

}How it works
- Dependencies use canonical plugin ids or canonical install refs.
- A canonical install ref looks like
<registryAlias>/<namespace.plugin>. - Add
@<version>only when you need an exact reproducibility or rollback pin. - Dependencies inherit the same registry contract when they resolve inside a configured registry.
- Direct URLs, local files, and ZIP sources are not part of the public install contract.
- Dependencies are only installed once per install run.
Use dependencies for shared foundations like linters, security checks, or base prompts.
