Install ledger format

AgentRig keeps separate personal and workspace ledgers:

  • personal: ~/.agentrig/plugin-installs.json
  • workspace: <repo>/.agentrig/plugin-installs.json

The current ledger schema is version 4. The abbreviated shape is:

{
  "schemaVersion": 4,
  "installs": {
    "cursor:personal:agentrig-core-committer": {
      "id": "cursor:personal:agentrig-core-committer",
      "provider": "cursor",
      "requestedScope": "personal",
      "scope": "personal",
      "pluginId": "agentrig.core-committer",
      "pluginVersion": "1.2.3",
      "snapshotDigest": "sha256:...",
      "pluginName": "agentrig-core-committer",
      "targetPaths": ["..."],
      "installedAt": "2026-08-08T00:00:00.000Z",
      "specIdentity": { "kind": "registry", "registryAlias": "agentrig", "pluginId": "agentrig.core-committer", "version": "1.2.3", "registryUrl": "https://agentrig.ai/registry" },
      "registry": { "contractVersion": "...", "generatedAt": "...", "registryAlias": "agentrig", "registryUrl": "https://agentrig.ai/registry", "sourceRepository": "...", "signature": { "algorithm": "...", "keyId": "...", "signedDigest": "..." } },
      "files": [{ "path": ".../SKILL.md", "sha256": "sha256:..." }],
      "metadata": { "pluginPath": ".../.cursor/plugins/local/agentrig-core-committer" }
    }
  },
  "selections": {}
}

Provider records add provider-specific metadata. Selection records also track selected artifact selectors, copied file hashes, and hash-owned JSON writes. Uninstall removes only data that still matches recorded ownership; modified user files or JSON entries are kept and reported.

When AgentRig encounters an older ledger during the Agent Plugins v1 hard cut, it archives the old file as plugin-installs.pre-openplugins-backup.json, resets the active ledger to v4, and requires affected plugins to be reinstalled.
